With no gravel roads to endure, the cabin is located just 5-10 minutes from Downtown Blue Ridge and 20 minutes from Ellijay, both quaint and charming towns with delicious restaurants and taverns with live music, fantastic shopping and ongoing events, and great bike trails. You’ll also be centrally located near local attractions, including Mercier Orchards and Serenity Spa, and visitors can easily take a train ride on the scenic railway from Downtown Blue Ridge up to the sister city of McCaysville. For the more adventurous, the cabin is only about 20 minutes away from the Toccoa River for tubing, boating on Lake Blue Ridge, kayaking, and trout fishing, and the USFS for hiking and mountain biking. Around 30 minutes away, you can hike the area’s best waterfalls like Fall Branch, Long Branch, and Amicalola Falls. Just an hr drive north is Ocoee, TN, home to the best white water rafting and outdoor activities galore. MAIN FLOOR & DECK Experience the open living room concept featuring a stone wood-burning fireplace complemented by a soft area rug, comfortable leather couch, and loveseat, creating a cozy setting for meal times and movie nights. The main floor upper deck houses a gas grill (which uses propane tanks) with outdoor seating, offering a view of the lush trees and flower garden. Additionally, there is a convenient laundry closet with a washer and dryer. SECOND BEDROOM - MAIN FLOOR Queen Master Suite with ample natural light, curtains, Streaming TV, spacious walk-in closet, ceiling fan, and private attached bathroom with jacuzzi and walk-in shower. FIRST BEDROOM - UPPER FLOOR Experience luxury with a queen bed, abundant natural light, and your private balcony boasting stunning sunrise views. Watch your favorite shows on the streaming TV, stay comfortable with a ceiling fan, and relax in the attached bathroom with a lavish jacuzzi and beautifully tiled walk-in shower. KITCHEN & DINING Kitchen island dining seats 6 with an additional stools stowed away for your convenience. The kitchen has granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, a standard coffee maker - a blender, and toaster oven. Kitchen is fully stocked with every utensil or appliance the “chef” in your group should need to cook, bake, broil, mix or whisk (including an ice maker, knife set, mixing utensils, hand mixer, strainer, measuring utensils, cutting boards, scissors, grater, scoop, whisk, pots and pans, mixing bowls, baking sheets, silverware, peeler, BBQ tools, dishes, kettle, blender, muffin pan, and a pantry). Silverware and wine glasses are included as well as a can opener and wine opener. THIRD BEDROOM - LOWER LEVEL Twin-over-full bunk bed providing a private sanctuary for kids. LOWER LEVEL & LOWER OPEN DECK Capture the excitement of the big game on the streaming TV, or challenge your friends to a thrilling game of ping pong. Unwind on the lower level patio, complete with a professionally cleaned and sanitized hot tub, as well as an inviting outdoor wood-burning fireplace. Please note that firewood is not included. Seasonal Ladybugs Notice: Our cabin is located in the North Georgia mountains. During certain seasons, especially fall and early spring, ladybugs (Asian beetles) may be present. While we professionally clean before every stay, these harmless insects can enter due to the wooded mountain setting. Thank you for understanding that this is part of the natural cabin experience.

The North Georgia "Ladybug" Season: As we are located in the heart of the North Georgia mountains, our cabin occasionally experiences seasonal visits from Asian Lady Beetles (ladybugs) during the cooler months. A Natural Phenomenon: These harmless visitors are attracted to the warmth of log cabins as temperatures drop. This is a common seasonal event across the Blue Ridge region and is not a reflection of the cabin's cleanliness or maintenance. Our Protocol: We perform a "mechanical sweep" (deep vacuuming) immediately prior to every check-in to clear the interior. Because they seek warmth from within the cabin’s structure, a few "stragglers" may reappear near sunny windows shortly after cleaning. Why We Don’t Use Heavy Sprays: Following the guidance of the University of Georgia (UGA) Extension, we do not use heavy indoor chemical treatments for this issue. Sprays are ineffective once the beetles are inside and can cause staining on furniture or linens. Physical removal is the most eco-friendly and effective method. Safety: They do not bite, sting, or carry disease.
